Bluetooth is a great invention in the world of wireless technology. This magical technology has just removes the hassles of wires in the way of communication. And make a clean and easy setup working system. The word “Bluetooth” derived from the name after the old king of Norway known as “Harald Blatand”. You can’t believe but his name literally means “Blue” and “Tooth”.

The Bluetooth technology first developed in (Sweden 1994) by Jaap Haartsen and Sven Mattison. And in 1998 SIG formally announced this technology. Now many companies are working on it and try to improve this technology according to rapidly changing needs of people. Its latest Version is Bluetooth 3.0. The more advance and improve technology from its old versions (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 2.0 and 2.1).

The Bluetooth 3.0 version was adopted by the SIG on April 21, 2009. One of its features is that it can transfer theoretical data speed up to 24 Mb/sec. This technology also enables the use of alternative MAC and PHYs for data transmission. Bluetooth uses radio technology known as SSFH (Spread Spectrum Frequency Hopping) to transport data on high speed.

Another feature of Bluetooth is that it can sent data to other devices without establishing an explicit L2CAP channel. Bluetooth 3.0 has Enhanced Power Control feature as well that removes the ambiguities regarding open loop power control system. This is very easy and free to use anywhere in the world. The effective working on high speed this technology is becoming the reason of its rapid expansion in all over the world.
