The new Apple iPhone 3GS has an improved camera which now offers video recording capability, something the previous model was severely lacking. Not only can users record video on the go but they can also edit video clips quickly and easily with a new built in editing tool. With this in mind, there is no longer the need to upload videos to a laptop or PC and download extra software.
Cutting video footage is simple to do directly on the mobile phone with the new editing application. For example, with the editing tool users can trim a clip to erase unwanted footage and only keep relevant and significant events.
Sharing videos doesn’t require uploading to laptops or PC’s either. The 3G S offers a MobileMe account which provides opportunity to publish media and send videos straight to YouTube.
The existing camera has also been tuned for better performance which is now 3 megapixels as opposed to the 2 megapixel camera of the original iPhone 3G. Picture quality has been noticeably enhanced, providing sharper and richer photographs.
Focusing is even simpler to do on the 3G S with the camera able to focus on anything in the frame which, combined with a large display, makes for an effortless user experience. All that’s required is the tap of a finger over a chosen focal point and the camera does the rest. The new 3GS is a marked step in the right direction for the Apple iPhone range.
